Date Night!!

Wow! Ryan and I got to actually go out on a real date tonight, just for fun ! It was so great. First we went to a movie, a really scary date night movie, The Crazies. Unfortunately, we've been married way to long for me to use him as a shield for the scary parts, he thinks I'm a big dork if I do that, it's just not cute anymore. So I just jump at the scary parts all by myself and get laughed at every time (it did get him once though too, hahaha, I really got to laugh at him then! So there!). The movie was pretty typical for a horror flick but still plenty entertaining. Afterwards we tried to go to the new restaurant in town, the Texas Roadhouse but it was PACKED!! 75 min wait! Some economy, eh? Maybe everyone just got their tax refund like us and went out at the same time. So we just went to the Coppermill, which is this nice restaurant on main street, right across from the tabernacle. Its in a really old building which just makes it charming, although sometimes I feel like I'm going to fall through the floor. We both had a excellent steak and salad and garlic mashed potatoes. Really yummy!

It was so fun to be out on our own and spend a quiet evening together. Well except for all the screaming in the movie but other than that really relaxing. The kids were great for the babysitter and I can't wait to do it again!
