My First Blog

I have just entered this world of blogging and it makes me feel like an old lady that I haven't been doing this for years. I would like to start by saying Thank you to Tamara and Rachelle for their blogs and the inspiration it gave me to start my own.

For my first item of business I would like to say that I am SO ready for Spring. I know that I am not the only one feeling this right now. I just love the feeling I get when things start to warm up. I feel like I am coming out of hibernation. When the snow melts and I see those first few buds on the trees its like a whole new beginning. I never got that feeling in Arizona. For this feeling alone I will always be grateful for Winter and for when Winter finally ends.

I have to say though that I feel like a really bad mom because I have not done one snow related activity with my kids, except maybe a few snowballs. No sledding, no skiing, no tubing, and not one snowman. I have taken them outside to play in the snow and they have had fun romping around but I have missed a year of making snow memories for my kids. I will defiantly make it a point to do better next year.
So we are all getting ready to emerge from our cocoons (except for those of you in Arizona who are about to enter their very hot ones) and enjoy this beautiful place that we live in. I can't wait to take that first big breath of Spring air and begin again.

I love it! I know how you feel about wanting Spring to get here. We have cabin fever so bad. I miss Arizona for that reason. At least in AZ we could go to the snow when we felt like it. :) Love ya!

Way to go! You are a blogger! You are now a hip and cool mom. You will let at everything in life from a new perspective. . . "how can I blog this." "Could thi be blog worthy?" It is a great obsession. Also, I now have a way to use my pictures since, scrapbooking seems to be by the wayside. I love your blog. Your pictures are wonderful! I am with you on the spring thing- good point on making snow memories for my kids, I will have to work on that one too.

Humm, it was like a challenge to find the line you "stole"?? I am not good at Where's Waldo, or other I Spy books, and consequently couldn't find the line you "copied", but hey, now I have thoroughly read your whole blog three times. I am guess it is in one of the descriptions of your children, since I have not blogged about winter and nothing seemed familiar.
